About Karstens Financial

 

Karstens Financial was established by Jake Karstens in 2009. Jake commenced his professional carrier in 1998 as an intern and in 2002 as a Regional Sales Representative for Deutsche Bank. At Deutsche Bank he grew professionally obtaining licenses and learning about products including mutual funds, managed accounts, annuities, and retirement plans.

 

In 2006, Jake joined the team at Managers Investment Group, where he initially functioned as a Regional Sales Representative. Jake’s performance led to several promotions including Regional Sales Directors covering the central regional of the country.  After the market crash of 2008, Jake decided to focus his talent on individual and business clients by starting his own practice and from this Karstens Financial was born.

  

Jake Karstens joined Interactive Financial Advisors in 2012 to offer financial planning and money management to his clients. Jake offers business consulting & financial planning as a complimentary service to his clients. He wants to help clients understand their insurance policies, financial plans, and most importantly, their options. 

 

 

Meeting with Jake simply means sitting down and reviewing your current situation – family, business, finances, property, and long-term plans. He will then use this information to identify a process to achieve your goals.

Jake Karstens

 Jake attended Rollins College in Florida, graduating with a degree in Economics in 2002. He continued his education with coursework in financial planning at DePaul which he completed in 2004.  He holds currently holds 6 insurance and financial licenses, including his Series 65. Time is important in financial planning. Don’t find out the hard way about protection you wish you had or money you wish you would have put away. “He who hesitates is lost.  Life is meant to be Led, Live it!"  Jake loves to sail, spends time in Florida, Texas and Chicago.




Lily Morán

  Lily is  manages our support desk and keeps Karstens Financial running and on track.  She is fluent in English, Spanish and pretty good at French.  She is a dog lover at heart and loves the beach and family.  She studied at the University of Autonoma De Aguascalientes

Eina Karstens

Eina is Jake Karstens little sister!  In 2016, Eina Karstens joined Karstens Financial after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Angelo State University. She enjoys a team that has passion and drive for selling insurance. In addition, Eina has made insurance life long career.  She is excellent at helping small businesses with their insurance policies and individuals with their auto and home needs. She also works on developing relationships with loan officers, banks, car dealerships and more.



Bernie Lopez

Bernie is in charge of our sales email address and initial calls to qualify our commercial clients.  He is an easy guy to talk to and a team player.  Bernie makes things happen.  He is an industrial engineer, father and good friend that will help you to the end!  
Bernie is fluent in Spanish and English.  Bernie Studied at Utel University.

Bryan Misa

Bryan Misa

Bryan is a registered nurse by profession. He is a jack of all trades backed up with an extensive exposure to sales, insurance, training and development and customer service. Tech-savvy, friend to all and street food connoisseur. Bryan manages the inbound personal lines email address and is in charge of personal lines intake calls. He manages support related issues on the life and health insurance end. Bryan also works when the rest of us are sleeping. So if you call at night or early in the morning you will probably get Bryan!
