📞 Connect with Us or the Insurance Carrier First
Your broker is your primary contact for all things related to your insurance policy. We’ll help you understand your coverage and what you’re protected for. If you experience a loss, reach out to us at support@karstensfinancial.com or contact your sales agent. Provide a detailed description of the incident along with supporting photos, videos, or a list of lost or damaged items.

Next, file the claim with your carrier (See below). Here’s an overview of the main steps involved:

  1. Contact Your Insurer or Reach Out to Us for Assistance
  2. Document the Incident with photos, videos, or written accounts
  3. Complete Claims Forms provided by the carrier
  4. Submit Supporting Documentation as requested
  5. Cooperate with the Investigation process
  6. Review Settlement Offer with the adjuster
  7. Accept or Negotiate the Settlement if needed
  8. Receive Payment once approved
  9. Complete Repairs or Replacements
  10. Follow Up if Needed to ensure all elements of the claim are closed
